Sunday October 12th
My mom and I decided to go out to Beak and Skiff outside Syracuse to do some apple picking! They also make many types of hard ciders and apple wines as well as vodka and gin from apples. We got to do a tasting of all of them, which was completely free and the hard ciders were really good! We weren’t fans of the apple wine; it didn’t taste like wine. I didn’t like the vodka. Yuck. We then went into the orchard on a tractor to pick apples. It was a really nice day. The sun was shining and it was pretty warm for October. There were a ton of apples ready to be picked. There were some on the ground and there were some on the top of the trees. My mom went on a search for the perfect apple and she found one. The pictures below are from my new camera, a Nikon D3100 that I bought from a really nice guy on craigslist AND it was brand new! I got to open the box and most of the packaging 🙂
