Letchworth State Park

Monday October 13

We took an impromptu trip to Letchworth Park. It’s a very beautiful park, especially in the fall. The leaves had to be in peak season because the colors were fantastic and the air was so fresh and crisp. We stopped at the craft fair by the entrance and walked around. There were a ton of vendors. My favorite part was the hot apple cider! Then we got back in the car and drove around the whole park, stopping at all the scenic spots.  We even went on a few hikes. The first one was a serious hike where we were either going up or down. In the end it was worth it because it ended on a river that runs through the canyon. The second hike ended up being cut short because the path kind of ended in a bush so that was a bust. And the last hike was my favorite! It also ended on the river in the canyon but there was more land to walk on and explore. Plus it was a great spot for pictures. The park makes my recommendation list! There are a few waterfalls that are beautiful and definitely worth the stop and are Kodak moments.
